Made for the Liminal Space Jam.
Headphones recommended! Not recommended to run on a low-end PC
Walk inside a quiet hotel at night. You can try opening all the doors you want but no-one is going to answer.
How to play
WASD to move
R to restart, ESC to exit game
Note: This is a proof-of-concept made for a game jam and not a finished game. At this point all this game is a walking simulator.
Edit as of October 16th 2023: This game will probably not be receiving updates at least until the year 2025 due to personal reasons.

Install instructions
1. Unpack .zip file in desired location
2. Double-click on "hotel-liminal.exe" to run game
(3. If the game doesn't work at first, keep closing and opening until it works)
The game has a tendency of taking a very long time to start. Please be patient.
Headphones recommended for the best experience.

Bout to run Wine!
Windows 11 unzipped and ran fine. Bit of lag to start, lots of extraneous files in the archive, but otherwise, solid SCP or stanley parable-esque feel.
Felt alone and locked out of my hotel.
Thanks for your feedback. Those "extraneous" files are auto-generated by the game engine I use (UPBGE). Some of these "extra" files might get removed for future versions.
